COME JOIN US! This year we are celebrating our second annual spring ladies night! We are inviting all you ladies out to join us for an amazing evening of girl time, pampering, professional hair and makeup artists, your own mini session where you get to embrace yourself and feel empowered! This was such a hit last November we decided to bring it back EARLY! Our amazing graphic designer Brain Cox of Sparknode media created some amazing décor for us to feature and I can’t wait to show you what is to come on the menu for the night.

WRAPPED IN LOVE + CHELSEY

Chelsey and her husband are our of the many Military families that I work with. They are some of our most favorite customers. They are often the most warm hearted and kind people and that is definitely the case with this adorable family of (soon to be) FOUR. They are stationed here in Washington at JBLM and their growing family has it’s first boy on their way. We know their sweet little girl is going to just love up having a little brother.
Chelsey came to be and wanted something elegant and beautiful and we chose not to do a traditional outdoor shoot, but we wrapped her as I like to say in “love”. Love being Lace, Chiffon and any beautiful form fitting textured fabric. Chelsey was definitely down for the challenge. As you can see by her image below, she’s stunning and such a glowing second time mother. We think that you know what is to come when getting a second baby, or at least we know how much we fell in love with that first baby and how exciting it is just to think we get to do it all over again. What a blessing they are.

FAMILY PHOTOS + MICK FAMILY + PT DEFIANCE PARK

The Mick family… Where do I begin? Sean and Chrissy have three beautiful children. They are best friends. I would describe their family as loving and kind. Their three children were so well behaved and polite. It was such a joy working with their family and getting to know them through the process and journey of photographing their family. I photographed their family at Pt Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington. Being the very last weekend in November we didn’t have a lot of leaves on the ground and not a lot of sun. Thankfully the day we photographed their family it hadn’t hit the 20 degree mark yet like the next week following did. I always encourage the families that I photograph to venture online, on my website or on Pinterest to look for their favorite family photos and to get an idea of what a great outfit and color scheme for their session is. Often times I ask customers “what is your home décor like” Some will say they don’t have one, then we get to ask about if they did have one, what could you envision? Do you see city and industrial coming to mind? Barns? Maybe just natural, organic textures like burlap and lace. Maybe you love vintage. When I ask these questions it’s because I really want to make sure you and I are a great fit and that we can accomplish exactly your vision for your family photos and make them special and unique to you.
